PENGEMBANGAN KAWASAN JAGUNG RENDAH AFLATOKSIN UNTUK PEMENUHAN KEBUTUHAN INDUSTRI PANGAN

Keamanan pangan saat ini tidak hanya menjadi subjek penting pada aspek kesehatan masyarakat dan penyediaan pangan lokal, tetapi juga menjadi isu penting dalam perdagangan komoditas pertanian nasional maupun internasional. Hal ini karena tidak sedikit komoditas pertanian yang berpotensi terkena kontaminasi racun yang dapat membahayakan kesehatan. Salah satu komoditas pertanian tersebut adalah jagung yang rawan terkena cemaran aflatoksin jika tidak dikendalikan dengan baik. Berdasarkan data Kemenko Bidang Pangan (2025) produksi jagung dalam negeri pada Tahun 2024 yang memenuhi persyaratan industri pangan masih sangat rendah yaitu sebesar 27.783 ton dibandingkan kebutuhannya yang mencapai 1,49 juta ton. Kertas kebijakan ini bertujuan untuk menyusun rekomendasi kebijakan yang paling sesuai untuk diterapkan dalam rangka meningkatkan produksi jagung di dalam negeri yang rendah aflatoksin. Analisis skoring alternatif kebijakan dengan skala prioritas mengacu pada metode Bardach. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa kebijakan pengembangan kawasan pertanian jagung rendah aflatoksin menjadi opsi kebijakan yang terpilih untuk diterapkan pusat bersama dengan pemangku kepentingan terkait.
