Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh Fear of Missing Out (FOMO) terhadap keputusan pembelian saham di kalangan mahasiswa Universitas Dian Nusantara. Variabel independen yang diteliti meliputi Irritability, Self-Esteem, dan Fear, dengan FOMO sebagai variabel dependen. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan pendekatan regresi linier berganda. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner yang diisi oleh 150 mahasiswa aktif berinvestasi saham. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa ketiga variabel independen secara simultan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap FOMO (p < 0,05). Secara parsial, Irritability memberikan pengaruh terbesar terhadap FOMO dengan koefisien regresi sebesar 0,232, diikuti oleh Fear (0,188) dan Self-Esteem (0,155). Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa faktor emosional dan sosial memainkan peran penting dalam memengaruhi keputusan investasi mahasiswa. Penelitian ini menyarankan edukasi literasi keuangan, pengembangan fitur platform investasi, serta pelatihan manajemen emosi untuk membantu mahasiswa membuat keputusan investasi yang lebih rasional. Kesimpulan ini penting untuk mendukung pengelolaan investasi yang lebih bertanggung jawab di kalangan generasi muda.
