PENGARUH FORMULA ENKAPSULASI DAN PENGERINGAN TERHADAP BENIH SINTETIK ANGGREK

Benih sintetik merupakan teknologi yang sedang dikembangkan di Indonesia untuk tujuan penyimpanan dan konservasi beberapa tanaman. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat pengaruh enkapsulasi dan pengeringan terhadap daya kecambah benih sintetik anggrek selama penyimpanan. Perlakuan terdiri dari dosis MS (0, ½. ¾. Dan 1 MS) serta pengeringan (0, 3, dan 6 jam). Hasil menunjukkan bahwa daya kecambah benih dipengaruhi oleh dosis MS dan lama waktu pengeringan. Dosis MS juga berpengaruh terhadap bobot segar, sedangkan waktu pengeringan berpengaruh terhadap bobot kering dan kadar air benih. Benih sintetik dengan formula enkapsulasi yang digunakan dapat disimpan selama 4 bulan.
