PEMBERIAN ARUS FARADIK DAN COMPRESSION BANDAGE PADA LIMFEDEMA PASCA OPERASI PENGANGKATAN PAYUDARA

Limfedema ekstremitas atas adalah komplikasi fisik yang biasa dialami setelah pengobatan kanker payudara, ditandai dengan pembengkakan jaringan yang terus-menerus di ekstremitas akibat akumulasi getah bening yang tidak normal dalam jaringan. Beberapa penelitian mengatakan bahwa menambahkan terapi dengan arus faradic pada Complex Dekongestif Theraphy pada pasien limfedema menghasilkan penurunan lingkar segmen dan volume serta ketebalan kulit. Penelitian ini merupakan Case Report yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas pemberian arus faradic dan compression bandage pada pasien limfedema. Terapi dilakukan selama 3 kali, sebelum dan sesudahnya dilakukan pengukuran lingkar segmen dari pes cubiti 5 & 10 cm kearah distal dan proksimal, serta diukur kemampuan fungsional menggunakan Upper Extremity Functional Index (UEFI). Setelah diberikan terapi selama 3 kali, diperoleh hasil T0 dan T1 , pes cubiti 5 & 10 cm kearah distal hasilnya 36 & 36 cm, sedangkan pada 5 & 10 cm kearah proximal hasilnya 44 & 45 cm. Pada T2 terdapat penurunan lingkar antropometri 5 & 10 cm kearah distal hasilnya 35 & 34,5 cm, sedangkan pada 5 & 10 cm kearah proximal hasilnya 43 & 44,5 cm. Kemudian pada T3 terdapat penurunan lingkar antropometri 5 & 10 cm kearah distal hasilnya 33 & 32 cm, sedangkan pada 5 & 10 cm kearah proximal hasilnya 43 & 42 cm. Intervensi yang diberikan yaitu modalitas elektroterapi dengan arus faradic yang dikombinasikan dengan kompresi oleh elastic bandage. Hasil dari penelitian ini didapatkan adanya sedikit peningkatan aktifitas fungsional pada pasien dengan limfedema post op ca mamae, pada penilaian aktifitas fungsional T0- T2 diperoleh nilai 44, sedangkan pada T3 didapatkan hasil 49.
