PENGARUH CERITA BERGAMBAR SURI IKUN TERHADAP FREKUENSI KONSUMSI SAYUR DAN BUAH PADA ANAK USIA SEKOLAH

Buah dan sayuran merupakan komponen penting dari diet sehat, tetapi banyak anak tidak mengkonsumsi cukup untuk memenuhi kebutuhan sesuai rekomendasi. Penelitian telah disetujui oleh komite etik dengan No: L.B.02.03/1/0127/2025. Metode kuantitatif dengan pendekatan quasi eksperimen pre-test dan post-test design. Bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi bagaimana cerita bergambar suri ikun memengaruhi frekuensi konsumsi sayur dan buah pada anak usia sekolah. Melibatkan 90 anak dari dua Sekolah Dasar, terbagi dalam kelompok intervensi 45 orang yang diberi media buku cerita bergambar dan 45 orang kelompok kontrol diberi media konvensional berupa leaflet. Buku cerita dirancang sebagai media edukasi, diadaptasi dari karakter tradisional Timor tentang Suri ikun dan dua burung ajaib. Desain buku dirancang melalui pendampingan para ahli. Isi cerita dimodifikasi untuk meningkatkan pemahaman anak tentang gizi serta manfaat sayur dan buah. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan kuesioner FFQ dan Recall-24 jam untuk menilai frekuensi konsumsi sayur dan buah. Lembar observasi untuk memonitor aktifitas membaca anak. Analisis data menggunakan Uji regresi linear sederhana. Studi ini menunjukkan bahwa cerita bergambar suri ikun mempengaruhi frekuensi konsumsi sayur dan buah pada anak usia sekolah. Peningkatan rata-rata konsumsi sayur dan buah pada kelompok intervensi setelah membaca buku cerita bergambar suri ikun. Sekolah dapat menyediakan bahan bacaan yang berkaitan dengan kesehatan dan gizi dalam bentuk buku-buku cerita yang menarik di perpustakaan untuk menambah wawasan bagi anak.
