PENGARUH PERNIKAHAN USIA DINI TERHADAP PELUANG BONUS DEMOGRAFI

Abstract

The purpose of this community service is to identify the factors and impacts arising from early marriage on the opportunities of demographic bonus at SMA Al Islam 1 Surakarta. The results of this activity show that early marriage can affect the level of education; as a result, lower educational levels also impact the skills of the productive-age population, causing the quality of young generations who marry early to be low. Early marriage also leads to an increase in population without being accompanied by high-quality human resources, thereby becoming a burden on national development. In addition, early marriage only causes unemployment rather than becoming an opportunity for a demographic bonus. The activity was carried out in several stages: 1) Preparation Stage: At this stage, the community service team carried out preparations, including discussing and examining the predominant issues regarding education on the impact of early marriage on the demographic bonus. 2) Technical Stage: Conducting a workshop on the effects of early marriage. 3) Cumulative Stage: Collaborating with students to provide guidance on the impact of early marriage, as well as disseminating information through leaflets and video presentations. Later, the leaflets and videos will also be distributed to teachers and students of SMA Al Islam 1 Surakarta.
